Marijuana is not a performance enhancing drug. With it being legal in many different states and regions it should not be a reason to ban someone for competing in an athletic event such as the Olympics or any athletic event for that matter. We have let the world deem marijuana as a horrible drug and although it’s not legal everywhere we have all discovered marijuana is not this monster the world made it out to be for so long. Marijuana use should not be a reason to stop a legacy or the start of something special for ShaCarri. ShaCarri was on her way to being the fastest woman in the world and nothing this minuscule should stop that. We the world are asking you all to let this young woman who has defied the odds, compete in the Olympics so she can have a chance to rightfully claim that title. ShaCarri we are behind you one thousand percent!
