Kyesha Holt started this petition to Tokyo Olympics

Sha’Carri Richardson is an African American woman who earlier in the month of June qualified for the Tokyo Olympics. Within a week of her qualifying she learned that her biological mother passed away and she has been dealing with grief ever since. Recently she took a drug test and it did come back positive for marijuana but she is also in the process of grieving her mother. Humans grieve in all different forms however she should not be penalized for smoking marijuana nor banned from the Olympics because of a mistake. She is going through a lot emotional and taking her out of the Olympics will do nothing but add more emotional pain to what she is already going through. Sha’Carri Richardson should be allowed to race and compete. She is human and she made a mistake. People who are athletes and smoke marijuana should not be penalized.
