Keep Small Business in Seaford

Our neighbors, Mike and Stephanie Victor need our help and quite frankly we need the Victors- so it's in our best interest to help them. They need their variances approved to maintain and continue operating Sonny's Gas Dock in Seaford L.I. The Victors are good neighbors who employ local kids, have hosted The Seaford Christmas Boat Parade, pay commercial taxes in a town with an ever dwindling commercial tax base and provide an important service. Those services include gas for pleasure and fishing boats , clean restroom connected to the county sewer system for our comfort, soda, bait, and some insider info on where the fish are biting. Please sign this petition in support of their variance requests. They are not looking to change anything, they wish to maintain their right to live in their house barge, keep the comfort facilities they maintain for us and run their business. Without Sonny's Gas Dock you're looking at Lindenhurst or Freeport for gas in the near future. Seaford Harbor's restaurants, gas docks, and marinas were all here before the storm. Let's not legislate them out after they gave their all to help rebuild. They support our town. Let's support them.
The hearing on these variances is September 5th at 2 p.m. at the Town Hall of Hempstead . 1 Washington Street, Hempstead NY. A show of support is always appreciated at Town of Hempstead meetings if you are able to attend. Thanks so much. Please be sure to sign and share this petition now!
