It is time to act upon the deadly crisis we've all created. Climate change Is a worldwide crisis that affects every single one of us. For instance, climate change has indirectly affected me, last year in May was when the crisis began to affect me mentally. I had built up anxiety, of course not as bad as many people suffer from but every day, day and night I would think about every single pro and con we could encounter if we didn't declare worldwide climate emergency quickly. Every day was like I was waiting for the end of everything and every single one of us, thinking that it as probably for the best but at the same time I didn't want to believe that because I still wanted to live even if I was losing hope. My heart was aching when the effect of climate change began to affect the innocent animals which are still suffering at this moment. Later on, when I began to feel better I individually began to take more actions to try to save not only my future but everyone's, the animals, the environment, and just the entire world. I couldn't bear to stay sad without doing anything when I knew that I could easily make a difference day by day if I tried.

We've all seen the drastic effects of climate change. We've all seen our life support, The Amazon collapse. We've seen people affected, the polar bears starving to death, we’ve seen it all. What else could we possibly need to see for our eyes and minds to accept that climate change is real and that it could end us all? What more needs to occur? Will we accept that climate change is real when the sky is black is coal, when the oceans are full of plastic instead of fish, when every animal is extinct, and when every single children's future won't be promised anymore? What did the children do to deserve an unsustainable planet? We need to act quick, we can't bear to wait any longer to act upon the mess that's killing us. Every single day we are closer to the irreversible point of the crisis. The more we wait for the government to decide to take action the less we’re closer to saving ourselves, our children, our families, and friends, we need to raise public demand ourselves and make our representatives listen. We all have a voice so let's use it! We can accomplish this together.

The solution won't work if everyone isn't involved, to ditch HB1414 which is slowing us down from ditching coal we need as much public interest as possible to shut down the coal plants. HB 1414 consists of slowing down the transition to renewable energy, letting the utilities double the amount of coal they can keep in storage which would pass down the cost onto customers according to IndyStar but if we were to transition to other sources Indiana potentially could see "billions of dollars in savings in the coming decades" by transitioning to other energy sources stated by Sen. J.D. Ford according to Tribune-Star. This entire bill would only be benefiting the coal industry, not the environment or any of us in any way or form. We all need to help the market catch up to the customer's preferences and transition to renewable energy because no one wants coal or would like to pay more money to what's harming the planet. Once we get closer to getting rid of one of the biggest greenhouse producers not only will the environment and air be improved but money will be saved since there won't be higher electric prices if the BH 1414 were to be ditched. Also, children and adults with respiratory issues won't be breathing contained air, their health will be improved. Everyone will be breathing the clean air they deserve! We’ll be on the path of healing all the scars and wounds we've created.

Overall please ALL adults help us young people fight the climate crisis! We’re underage and couldn't possibly vote in the 2020 presidential elections for someone that truly cares about the earth's sustainability as much as we do. If we win or not we will keep fighting in every way or form every day as we've already been no matter what. Till climate action is taken we will not rest. Hope is not lost, we the people have the power and we can and will accomplish everything together as a team!
