Save the Irvine Mesa and Silverado truck trail

The Wildlands Conservancy is selling their land holdings including parcels along the Silverado Truck Trail including the Irvine Mesa. The mesa borders the Irvine ranch conservancy that is held by OC Parks. Sale to any Private owner will block all recreational access to the Silverado Truck Trail. These parcels need to be acquired by the county to preserve access to the public. We urge the County and The Wildlands Conservancy to negotiate a purchase / sale. This trail has been historically been used by the public since the truck trail was created in the early 1930's. Wilderness access is cherished by all and should remain in place for Orange County's citizens.
