Woodmore School Bus Seat Belt Law is vital for Tennessee children's safety
This petition had 934 supporters
Several states have already passed laws requiring school buses to have pelvic and upper torso passenger restraint systems. The residents of Tennessee would like to pass similar common sense safety regulations. The time has come for Tennessee to join FL, LA, NJ, and TX in requiring school buses to have three-point seat belts. From 2004-2015, there have been 110 fatalities in school bus crashes. These fatalities could have been averted if the school bus simply had seat belts. Let's come together as #NoogaStrong and turn the #Woodmore tragedy into the Woodmore School Bus Seat Belt Law.
