Wayne, WV BOE Needs to Provide Enough Laptop Chargers for High School Students

There are several students attending Wayne High School who lack expected supplies for their school-issued laptops to function properly. Students are struggling with classes and assignments because the school has failed to supply all students with laptop chargers.
We are days away from the deadline of the first six weeks, and students are still waiting for their supplies. Many students are expected to purchase their own charger if they have yet to receive one. Wayne High School is a public school and parents/guardians should not be worrying about their children failing classes as a result of a matter they cannot control.
Several accounts have been made of students going to the library in search of a charger; the students were turned away because there were no chargers to give. As a student of this school, I realize it is not a necessity for every student to have their own student-issued laptop, but teachers/administrators assign online assignments or demand a student to watch a specific YouTube video in order to write a report. It's the age of technology, and how are students expected to excel when they are not provided with the criteria needed in order to grow academically? Please help me ensure that every student, despite the challenges they may face, meet the criterion of this generation to excel.
