Why this petition matters

Started by Naga Karikalan

Since 1956 until now, the Sri Lankan government have caused and causing pain and agony for the native Tamils of Sri Lanka.

Every native Tamils of the country wanted from the beginning was, to have equal rights.

But unfortunately, some of Sinhala ethnical groups and their ruling parties have failed all these years to prioritize Tamil`s request of equal rights for last 65 years. (Which was the main cause to the ethnic war in between.)

See the evidence bellow.

1956 – Anti Tamil Pogrom

1958 – Anti Tamil Pogrom

1977 – Anti Tamil Pogrom

1981 – Anti Tamil Pogrom

1983 – Anti Tamil Pogrom (Black July)

Since then, there was a brutal war between various Tamil armed organizations and Sri Lanka army until the 2009 – Civil War

After 2009, both Sinhala and Tamils needed was, justice and permanent peace reconciliation in between. Sadly, it seems to fail again cause of the same anti-Tamil propaganda political agenda which being practiced, since 1956.

Therefore, the Tamils lives in Sri Lanka and abroad are kindly asking the countries they are living as nationalities and their international justice organizations to help and assist in order to make peace in between the people of Sri Lanka, and bring Justice for Genocide
