A grave miscarriage of justice is taking place in Banigala against three houses which are wrongly placed in an old survey map of 1956 which shows the river flowing from the middle of these houses. The fact is that the river has changed course many decades ago and the houses are located at a good distance from the river. the survey maps should have been updated every 25 years and have not been updated in 61 years. The Sc decision is based on the old survey maps and should be based on the new realities based on a new survey

Why this discrimination, when all the rest of Banigala is being regularised?
