As residents of the Pleasant Grove Community, we respect property rights and recognize properties may be sold and subsequently developed.  WE REQUEST ANY DEVELOPMENT BE UNDER THE CURRENT R-3 ZONING DESIGNATION, which is in keeping with adopted area plans and policies.  The proposed rezoning petition is contrary and conflicting with City Corridors & Wedges Growth Framework policy.   The rezoning petition's plan does not fall within General Development Policies, conflicts with the adopted, updated and superceding Northwest District Plan. This rezoning plan conflicts with Community Plans.   The rezoning if approved will have financial detriments to area residents homes, will reduce the current quality of life enjoyed, and endanger the public health and well being of the community.  

Based upon these facts the Petition for rezoning could not be supported by area residents, nor will it meet the requirements for consideration of approval.
