I went out today to run some errands and was really happy to see young people everywhere serving people with water in the scorching heat and high temprature , what baffled me was the way the water was being served , in disposable plastic cups . these cups were everywhere as far as my sight went , I think it is a commendable to help people quench their thirst during this time and it deserves appreciation , but as much as it is a noble task it needs to be checked upon as huge pile of these plastic cups are taking toll on environment . These volunteers should either take full responsibility to clean and recycle or serve the drinks in reusable cups . Stray animals chewing on these plastics is not an odd sight these days causing numerous problems . This practice needs to be regulated by concerned authorities , just talking about is not enough we need to take actions now . That is why I am starting this petition to gain support concerning this issue. I sincerely hope I get enough help to start action .
