Mayor Allsop and her executive cabinet are choosing to close both soup kitchens, the Help the Homeless Soup Kitchen (Thursday eve) and Mansfield Soup Kitchen (Wednesday Eve). We Respectfully ask that a suitable indoor venue close to the town centre and adequate provisions in electricity, water and help with funding is given to these ventures that help to protect the homeless and needy and provide them with a hot meal that is obviously required hence the numbers that attend each week. The Homeless situation in Mansfield and areas is not going away, in today's insecure financial situations, it may only get worse and the people of Mansfield need to know that the town and its elected members care about them and their needs..
