ONGC Ltd has acquired tens of thousands of acres of farmland in Gujarat. Farmers are getting impoverished as a result of ONGC Ltd's low rent payments and other misdeeds. They are worried about how they would live. If we are to prevent more farmer suicides, particularly in Gujarat, the rent must be raised from Rs30 to Rs150 per square metre per year. There are many cellphone tower companies that pay of the rent Rs220 per square metre per year for the same type of farmland. The exploitation of farmers by ONGC should be halted. We respectfully request that the Government issue an order to ONGC Ltd to increase the rent from Rs 30 to Rs 150 per square meter per year and take the necessary steps in the farmers' favour.

Many pipelines are being laid illegally by ONGC ltd; thus, please order ONGC to cease laying pipelines unlawfully. The PMP Act of 1962 governs all pipeline-laying activities. Also, the illegal land acquisition must be stopped, and the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation, and Resettlement Act 2013 must be followed.
