We the undersigned are appalled that hundreds of seals are being shot around our coasts each year by the salmon industry and other fishing interests. We call upon all retailers of Scottish and other salmon products, including RSPCA Freedom Food, to insist that their salmon is produced without harming our seals.  We do not accept killing seals is a last resort measure when there are non-lethal methods of deterring them without harm. Killing seals is an unacceptable price to pay for any salmon products.

Please confirm that your sources of farmed or wild-caught salmon do not shoot or otherwise harm seals. If this assurance cannot be given, then we will only buy our salmon from those retailers that can.
