My name is Emily Te Kanawa and I have voiced my opinion about the safety measures that are placed on te kumi road. Although there is safety measures in place they are no longer viable nor are they working.

After a teenage child was struck by an oncoming vehicle while using a pedestrian crossing on te kumi road the township have finally had enough.

Upon signing this petition we propose more traffic calming on te kumi road to help slow down traffic on a busy highway.

It is important that children who go to and from school also adults of all ages are safe to go across this road
