Due to students having to either function in hybrid or remote learning to change that towards the end of the school year would negatively impact students sleep schedule, grades, and mental health. It also may not be safe to do so since cases in Monroe County are on the rise. It is imperative that the Brighton Central School District consider students before they reopen schools because students are the ones who will be negatively affected. It would be a significantly better for students if Brighton waited to reopen till September and allow students the summer to prepare for the reopening instead of just 13 days from my writing this.
