I would like to see Adrian Newey who’s RedBull’s chief designer and aerodynamicist to be given a knighthood by the Queen and added to the 2023 Honors list for his incredible services to F1! Newey has spent over 30 years within F1 and has almost won 188 GrandPrix’s. A phenomenal career and service. If Newey wins 3 more GrandPrix within the 2022 season he’ll have Alonso+Vettel+Sir Lewis Hamilton’s wins all combined! 188… So far as of writing this petition he’s achieved 185 wins following his most recent at the Hungarian GrandPrix. 

Newey has won 10 constructors titles with 3 different teams and has helped to win 12 Drivers Championship 7 different drivers! These include not only British drivers such as Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill but also other drivers such as Alain Prost, Sebastian Vettel who’s announced his F1 retirement and most recently Max Verstappen. 

Throughout his career within F1 he’s become undoubtedly the most successful Designer of them all! No one comes close to what Newey has accomplished. But it’s not just F1 because Newey has also helped shaped the RoadCars equally. One most notably as the AstonMartin Valkyrie.

If Sir Lewis Hamilton deserves an knighthood for what he’s accomplished within F1 then so does Adrian Newey. Who’s unquestionably one the best designers of ALL TIME.
