We need an ordnance on solar panel fields and lithium-ion battery storage plants. They can not be installed within half mile of wetlands, waterways, or a forest destroyed for them. There needs to be a cap and limit on amount of solar panels per acre per field. Only 25 percent of a field allowed solar panels. For instance 100 acre field only 25 acres allowed to be solar. And a cap of 1500 acres allowed to be solar throughout the whole county. Lithium-ion battery storage plant should be at least 3 miles from a school and also not within a half mile of a wetlands waterways and a forest destroyed.
My opinion as well as others.
These battery containers are not environmental friendly. There are no rules or regulations of any kind on lithium-ion battery storage and before ground is broke there needs to be. There needs to be a measurable distance between wetlands and schools. 6 miles from schools well at least 3 mile and at least half mile from wetlands. No forests cleared out no water rerouted. And not in an area with a high water table. And should be placed in areas zoned industrial. If there is fire and evacuation the said company or companies will be responsible for all damages, illness, death, and clean ups without any hesitation with both people and animals. Before any battery containers get replaced must get the ok by the local officials and voted on first just incase there has been issues with anything. They are full of hazardous materials we need to make sure they go in a safe location without being able to harm people, livestock and the wildlife. The picture is something similar to what they want. It's enough electricity storage for maybe 10 minutes. So whats the point of putting it in. But the main idea is to get rules, laws, and regulations on these before they harm our area like they have in others. Please sign this to keep a mass disaster from happening. And this is also to put regulations and caps on solar panels. Other states have put caps on them so why can't we? Ohio counties 30 acres per farm 300 acres per county. So why can't we get something going county wide then push state wide. 20 acre field only 5 solar allowed 40 acre field 10 acres solar allowed. And nothing within a half mile from a flood basin or wetland or waterways. If you have any ideas or comments please share or even pm on Facebook look for bill Allison.
