Footballing, punditry and music legend Chris Kamara has been denied the basic rights of such celebrity status and it simply cannot go on. It is sad that such a beloved public figure is overlooked whilst lesser known and deserving E-listers have attained ‘blue tick status’.

A true national treasure cannot continue to be denied his just deserves, change must come in the interest of true social equality.
