I am starting this petition because we the parents need to protect our children. I mean it could protect teachers too, however to be honest my concern are these children without a voice. In a classroom it a child’s word up against a teacher’s and most likely a teacher will win. So to avoid a repeat of my situation let just nip it in the butt and get cameras put in classrooms so that it will never have to be our children’s words against anyone’s. I am a mother who recently went to jail behind defending my child. My child is not violent, disrespectful, aggressive, etc. A teacher choked my daughter and got away with it because the police refused to help me. Everything could have been avoided, only if there was footage of what happened. So today I am standing up and asking for your help to get cameras in our children’s classrooms with live streaming that can only be accessed by a verified parent or the school.
