Dogs. An incredible species which is used for many things. But do people really love dogs? If people really love dogs why are people only loving some breeds of dogs and hating others? I mean they are the same species after all. So why is it that people love some breeds and don’t like others? 

Now imagine there is a line of people and in front of these people there are two dogs. A Golden Retriever and a Pitbull. They are both very friendly, gentle and well trained. These people either can pet the Golden Retriever or the Pitbull. I am very sure more people will go and pet the Golden Retriever despite the Pitbull being very friendly and gentle. This is a perfect example of Dog Favouritism. 

Dog Favouritism usually leads to Dog Discrimination and Dog Discrimination leads to abuse. And it already happened because of Dog Discrimination two million Pit bulls get slaughtered a year by humans! People need to remember that it is not about the breed of the dog it is about the person behind the dog. It’s a big problem because nearly everyone has Dog Favouritism.
