To declare Judge BH Loya as a Martyr and install his bust at a prominent place in Mumbai
यह पेटीशन क्यों मायने रखती है

Judge B.H. Loya died in mysterious circumstances on 1st December 2014.
He was the presiding judge in the Sohrabuddin Fake Encounter Case being tried in CBI Court in Mumbai.
Current Home Minister, Amit Shah, was the #1 accused in this case. Just before delivering the judgment, Judge Loya died in Nagpur while on official duty.
The judge who replaced Loya, later acquitted Amit Shah in the case.
Through this petition, addressed to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, we request, Maharashtra Government to declare Judge Loya as a Martyr and provide us with an appropriate space and location to install a bust in his memory.
That is the least that can be done to celebrate the life of an honest and upright judge who did not accept 100 Crore offer along with prime properties in Mumbai and refused to be bribed. For this, perhaps he paid with his life, a supreme sacrifice for upholding law.
Please join me in signing this petition in asking Chief Minister Uddhave Thackeray to do the needful to honor this real son of the soil.
Judge B.H. Loya was born in a Marwadi family that had made Latur their home town. He earlier worked in the Nagpur High Court too.
