The students of BLT-schools deserve a safe place to walk to school. 

Due to construction on James St, many children walk, to and from school, on Mountain Maple Dr.  The corner can be a dangerous place to walk; however, city council and the city planners don't believe there is a real concern.  The city has sent scouts out to this area and it's been previously determined that this area is lower on the priority list.

We've made calls to 311 - requesting sidewalks.  We've reached out to Richard Zurawski, asking for help. 

It looks promising that there will be a meeting with the city planners to make change, but we need your help to push this along further!

If we have enough people to support the goal, we may be able to finally have our voices heard, here in Timberlea.

This is a concern that BLT parents have shared for years... if not a decade.  It's time we band together to show city council - we mean business. 

We want change!

We want to keep our kids safe.  We want the city to install a sidewalk - NOW.
