Is anyone else wondering what sense it makes, that malls, department stores, bars and so fourth can be packed during covid, yet the fathers of unborn children aren't welcome in for their own child's ultrasounds? 

Even worse, expecting mothers are being forced to choose just ONE important person to be in the room for their child's birth. Leaving behind one too many important supporters in the mothers life(grandmother, sister, father etc)! This is NOT something a pregnant woman should have to face during one of the most exciting, stressful, and important times of her life!

No man or woman should be able to sit in a bar mask off with 5 friends while they drink down 4, 5, 10 beers, or shop next to a complete stranger in a mall filled with 100's of people, while families are being stripped of their right to closeness with a mother expecting. 

Let no mother, father, grandmother, sister, etc be left behind.  Help to reach the goal of signed petitioners for "mothers against "no visitors". Let's get back to normalcy of sharing the joys of growing, and bringing a child into this world, with the people closest to them! If families can share meals, drinks, and shopping dates together, then they can share moments like THIS together too. 

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. 

Going even further into detail,

The steps taken to maintain safety for all could be somewhere along the lines, as follows;
1. Let's say the mother chooses her own mother and the father of the unborn child to be in the room, this means(just like we trust people quarantine after travels for 14 days) we have those two people quarantine for 14 days prior to due date and even longer if needed(to plan for a missed due date, or to prepare in advance for an earlier due date).
2. Once that person's quarantine is up, they are to go nowhere except for directly to the hospital room where mother will have baby.
3. They are not permitted to leave, once they do leave they are willingly giving up their right to return at any point.
4. They will wear a mask the entire duration on their stay with the mother, and sanitize as needed to maintain cleanliness and prevent the spread of any germs.

Ultrasounds would be an even simpler situation as mothers are allowed into their own ultrasounds without having to so much as be tested for covid first. Then one other person should be permitted to sit in a room with a mask on, in a corner 6 feet away from the radiologist to be present for that ultrasound as well(ESPECIALLY THE FATHERS OF THESE UNBORN CHILDREN)!

This has become a complete outrage and only creates sexist biases against the 2nd parent. Just because he is not carrying the child, DOES NOT LIMIT HIS IMPORTANCE TO THE JOURNEY ALONG THE WAY IN THINGS LIKE ULTRASOUNDS! Mother and father come as ONE.

There are FAR MORE IMPORTANT EVENTS IN LIFE TO MAINTAIN NORMALCY IN! RATHER THAN BEING ABLE TO SIT IN A BAR FOR AS LONG AS WE PLEASE OR GOING OUT TO EAT OR SHOPPING AROUND COMPLETE STRANGERS TOUCHING THINGS THAT THEY JUST TOUCHED MOMENTS AGO, SHOULD NOT BE ACCEPTABLE IF VISITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE TRUSTED IN A HOSPITAL FOR THE BIRTH OF A FAMILY MEMBER.
IF WE CAN TRUST IN THESE SILLY NON-ESSENTIAL OUTINGS ON A DAILY BASIS, THEN DIRECT SUPPORT FOR CHILDBIRTH AND ULTRASOUNDS SHOULD BE PERMITTED BACK!
