I think masks should still be mandatory after September 15 for schools in Nova Scotia. “Why?” you ask? Well, let me explain. So, after September 15. Say somebody from Ontario travels into Nova Scotia and they have COVID-19. So wherever they travel, (ex. Halifax) they could spread it to strangers, friends, or family. Then that person they spread it to, it takes 7-14 days for them for symptoms to show. Then for example, that person go visits their friend in bridgewater, then that person they are visiting could get it. And it keeps spreading like that. And with the new delta variant, it’s going to spread around like a rapid fire smg. I was talking to some friends and they are really worried about getting it. Even I am. And the masks don’t protect you, they only protect other people.
