Currently the drug problem amongst youth is out of control and they are dying, lost and being forgotten about, our heath care system is failing, what's available takes Soo long that in cases its too late

OUR government funded rehab centres are a joke, a patient can check in and out like a hotel, some cases same day, we need it to change. if a person is showing signs of dangerous behavior or suicidal thoughts and manage to  sign themselves in to a rehab centre, I Beleive they should be held for a minimum of 7 to 10 days, long enough to get the attention and help that is needed, currently when addicts are checking in and out they are  tempting  other  addicts and the less temptations the better, these people need help and we are failing them! 

I strongly feel that the  addicts  chances of making a change and recovery would drastically change 

My daughter is a victim of drug addiction and she has come close to death a few times and just when we see the light it's gone again, in many cases hard drug use causes mental repercussions and these conditions go undiagnosed, and in some cases its too late, you don't know how hard it is to see your child suffer this way and not understand or even know who they are anymore, it's heart renching, she's a kind loving person who would give the shirt off her back, always struggled hard with AADHD
