This years flu season has been worse than normal. Kids are being treated, only to go back to the doctor sick again. Teachers and staff are out in a daily basis, and even substitutes are being affected. To the point that they are refusing to work. 

We are by no means, trying to shame or humiliate anyone in any position. However, the safety and health of our children, their teachers, and everyone who comes to SHS (including other schools -  this is high school basketball finals, and little dribbler season) is at the forefront of our minds.

Let’s be 100% clear on what we were asking: we are asking for the Singer school to be shut down Monday through Thursday. This will allow a full 10 days for the school to be completely disinfected
