Provide better hardware and software service to customers in India

My Apple Mac Book Pro, Retina Display, 15 Inches, that cost me a huge sum of money, accidentally suffered liquid damage and was pronounced dead. Consequently I have been running from pillar to post to recover the data. Apple Care in India refused to help me as they do not provide data recovery. I was advised to seek help from third party sources, who are unable to do so as they do not have the required technology!
Repeated request at Apple have left me totally disappointed. The phone support is equally bad and has kept me on hold for more than 60 mins.
I have been told that 'I should have kept a back-up!' Or 'Sorry, we cannot help you with data recovery, our engineers are not trained for that.' 'Perhaps I should buy a similar laptop, by spending a huge sum of money, and then have the hard-disc of the dead one inserted in it....maybe data can be retrieved!'
For many years I have been using Apple products, but the service provided to customers before sale and after sale is hugely different. I see thousands of harassed customers like me, queuing at Apple Care centers.
Apple technology is unique, it therefore needs people with better knowledge of its products handling their after-sale service. India is an important market for Apple but we do not get the facilities that other Apple users receive internationally. It does not matter if Apple is not present in India directly, the dealers etc are equally responsible to provide better solutions to customers.
Please sign my petition if you have ever been at the receiving end of poor Apple support in India. Much gratitude for reading and supporting this.
