Pit-bulls account for 65% of all Dog-bite related fatalities, but are only 6% of the dog population.  (12-year study by Dogsbite.org based on figures from CDC)

Pit bulls are on the  insurance companies "Do not insure List," so there is little chance to recover medical and veterinarian bills, in the event of an attack.

Pit bulls proliferate in poor and minority neighbors, so the current laws in Seattle allowing three Pit bulls per household, disproportionately impact racial minorities and the poor.

Mandatory muzzling, spaying & neutering will dramatically reduce these attacks.
