We have this issue at UvA as well! NO university should make us decide between protecting our privacy and being able to take exams.

I'm not at all comfortable showing my entire bedroom (!) and having my eye-movements analysed by AI. I find this invasive and potentially harmful. I also doubt whether the system will be able to accurately tell the difference between me staring out of my window and me staring at something/someone that helps me cheating on my exam.

I assume that many technical difficulties could appear before or during the exam that will lead to students experiencing more stress and less focusing on the content itself

It will likely lead, as described in the petition, to multiple problems which will not only and most importantly negatively affect students but will also be a chaotic and annoying bureaucratic way of surveilling for the university staff
