Many of my videos on Anicoitus's TikTok account have been unjustly flagged as violations, and eventually got the entire account banned. Comparing flagged/deleted videos of my own and my fellow queer content creators to those of other creators shows clear discrimination against members of the LGBT community as well as those who openly talk about their neurodivergent experiences. TikTok's guidelines are never clear and its methods for providing help for creators in this and similar situations seem to be designed to give disgruntled creators no opportunity to be heard. As a full time grad student, I do not have room in my schedule for a standard job until I graduate, and I used TikTok to promote myself and my freelance art and photography accounts to help support my income. Having my account banned for such a superficial reason is already negatively impacting my income.

If creators in a situation like this don't start standing up for themselves, the discrimination will only get worse. Please sign if you think TikTok needs to make a change!
