Power Thornton's Future: Tell City Council to Approve Xcel Substation at 120th & Holly St
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
Thornton is growing and our current power infrastructure is not adequate. Our population is nearly 125,000 and has added over 30,000 residents in the past 25 years. Plus there are over 200 new homes approved every 3 months in Thornton and most of those are in Ward 3. We can't rely on just one 25-yr old system.
- There’s only 1 substation in Thornton right now
- The new Recreation Center in north Thornton, Top Golf, new health and medical campus plans, Google office, and new outlet malls are all coming and so are two new RTD light rail stations.
- If we thought the power outages were bad before - just wait!
