Keep the dress code at TJHS

At TJ High School, there have been many complaints about the dress code being too strict for girls. Some who protest it argue that boys are not told off enough for what they wear. If that is indeed true, then that is an issue. However, that in no way justifies the degradation of the dress code, instead that should justify making the dress code more strict for boys. That includes limiting what graphic tee's can display along with the current rules. Others argue that it objectifies women. Being scantily clad may cause objectification but I would argue that not one sane person would believe that covering up causes objectification. I believe the dress code is completely warranted. High School is a professional learning environment. Part of being professional is to dress as such. One going to a job interview does not wear pajamas and sandals. Therefore, either the dress code stays or becomes more strict to force school uniforms on us.
