Cilfynydd Traffic Solution

We, the undersigned, being residents of Cilfynydd and Pont Sion Norton, urge Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council to commission feasibility studies in respect of constructing a new road to relieve traffic congestion in Wood Street, Cilfynydd. Said road to focus on linking Batten Way with Pontypridd Common, by way of an already existing road that was blocked to public usage sometime in the late 1970s.
On no account do we support parking restrictions in Wood Street and/or Oaklands Terrace as a remedial measure, as the burden would fall disproportionately on the residents of those roads.
This problem affects residents of Cilfynydd in the main. Residents of Cilfynydd are proud of where we live and seek to see the area evolve in time. With the current problem of traffic congestion through mainly Wood st and Oaklands Terrace, we face possible accidents that could get fatal at any point in time.
Please get together in signing this petition so that we, the residents of Cilfynydd, can show that we need a solution sooner rather than later. For council purposes please send your address to your council, Steve Belzak, as well as signing this petition, in order for Steve to go forward and make progress on this matter.
We're aiming for 1000 signatures from residents of Cilfynydd and Norton Bridge that 'HAVE NOT' already signed the paper version of this petition!
Thank you all and good luck.
