There is a huge surge of violence in North Carolina, most centered in Mecklenburg County. The evidence shows that the crimes are being committed by young adults. The solution is that of education, simply put. Many of these young adults have poor up bringing, that which may have put them at a disadvantage. If only allowed them the tools and guidance that other counterparts may have been subjected to(like having parents with higher education) may be the solution. In contrast, adding basic criminal Law and justice to under performing school curriculum may very well allow for rationalization in the teenage brain. The rational part of a teens brain isn't fully developed  and wont be until age 25 or so (University of Rochester, 2019). In fact recent research has found that adult and teen brains work differently(University of Rochester, 2019).   Adults think with the prefrontal cortex, the brains rational part (University of Rochester, 2019). In essence, in implanting a program of the sort, provides the young adult with the skills to at least weigh their options when turning to crime, thus possibly being able to rationalize.
