This petition has been created to remove Chief Evan Yassie from the Sayisi Dene First Nation office. 
our leadership don’t even think about the people, they just think about themselves, We are in the middle of a pandemic without a full leadership and no proper direction. Everyone just up and left for the holidays, the chief decides to just dump all his responsibilities onto the band admin. If he feels he needs a “much needed break” when he is on travel and away from the community majority of the time, then he should just step down!!! We need a new strong, sober leadership to lead the people properly, not this dysfunctional circus we have going on! Leading the people with just the chief who shuts off his phone and goes awol, he is clearly not stable enough to direct our people, they can’t even help themselves, let alone get along!!! it’s time we call for a full scale election before it gets worse! 

Every time a band member goes to the so called Chief with a request, his response is i'll work on it or i'll get back to you... but when it comes to his family, its done asap!
