Help Reform Voter ID Laws in North Dakota
This petition has been created as a form of protest against the strict voter ID laws in North Dakota that prevent many Native American groups from participating in elections. As it has been identified, preventing American citizens from voting and participating in civic privileges has been deemed unconstitutional. Because the voter ID laws require residents of North Dakota to provide a street address, many Native Americans are unable to partake in voting on the state level due to the fact that many of them reside in reservations that do not have street addresses. In this petition we aim to inspire change among these limiting laws. Native Americans as a whole are severely underrepresented in the U.S. government so it is now up to you to sign this petition to help change that precedent. Thank you!
