Why not keep the beautiful structure of the towers, and incorporate a green space and/or an interesting and well-designed residential/community space. This way the local residents and the environment can benefit. The work done one Kings Cross is a good example of how it can be done.

It's such an effort driving on Southend Lane now. They can't update the road under the bridge at worsley bridge road. The area cannot take any further congestion

Bell Green is already congested and the roads are rat-runs. Put the supermarket in the high street where the Co-op used to be, a much better use of space

Sydenham has an empty supermarket on its high street just waiting for a new store such as ALDI to occupy it. Why build yet another one where it's not needed?

There is an empty retail site on Sydenham Road where Budgen used to be. We don't need to lose a piece of local history to make way for another supermarket.

These gasometers are so beautiful! Painted blue against a blue sky, I often walk out just to see them, on a clear day.

These have been a part of Sydenham forever. Not only as gas holders but as a home to birds of prey. Who unfortunately moved on because of the trade Park. Do we really need another supermarket?
