TOUGHER PUNISHMENTS FOR UNDER 18s WHO COMMIT SERIOUS CRIMES
This petition had 926 supporters
So in the last year we’ve had our lives turned upside down, we’ve had to leave our home town, move our child away from his family, friends and school, leave our jobs and make a new life somewhere else because we no longer felt safe.
My partner was on his way to work when he was stabbed multiple times by a 14 year old youth, and had his phone robbed by that same youth and 2 of the youths friends. Due to their ages we aren’t allowed to name them, crazy I know!!!
Thankfully my partner pulled through and is perfectly fine now and we are enjoying our new life :)
The boy was found not guilty on attempted murder and he already pleaded guilty for robbery, even though the judge believes he did do the stabbing he was only sentenced to TWO AND A HALF YEARS REHABILITATION ORDER!!!
So I’ve decided to start this petition to be able to change the law, children who do these crimes do NOT deserve to have their names protected, they should be named to make the public aware of them. Also if they are old enough to make the decision to make such big decisions and do such serious crimes they should have to face the time like an adult would.
Its no surprise the kids of today are unruly, breaking the law, doing exactly what they want as they get away with it.
Please can everyone share this and let’s get this to Parliament to protect ourselves, our family, our friends and our community.
