Fibromyalgia is a dibilitating, unpredictable condition of the Central Nervous System causing widespread chronic pain throughout the entire body. Along with the pain is the fatigue (some days sufferers can't get out of bed), flu like symptoms, hypersensitivity to touch, sound, light and other stimuli and these are just a few of a myriad of symptoms. Symptoms can peak and trough significantly, but for some it's consistent. This quote sums it up succinctly: "Fibro can take someone who is educated, ambitious, hardworking and tireless and rob them of their ability to work, clean house, exercise, think clearly and ever feel awake or healthy again". Please support this cause as a wider knowledge and understanding can go a long way.
