The position of London Mayor should be voted for by the whole of the UK.

There has been a lot of talk from the London Mayor on behalf of the UK which would be fine but we did not vote him in. How can a London Mayor represent the capital city of the UK but not be voted in by the people of the UK, only that of the people of London? Our capital city is representative of the UK.
We propose that it is fair that the entire UK gets to vote on such a highly regarded and representative position. We would like the option to be able to vote for a mayor who represents the capital city of London which represents the United Kingdom and who speaks for us all through the city of London. This voting should include all UK people from Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England who have the right to vote and are here legally. We want national voting for this position because London represents us all.
