Over fifteen years of time, Prime Ministers and Ministers of State for vulnerable children and families have refused to take action regarding the unjust, unlawful, and needless removal of children from their homes in order to meet government targets.

Following the unlawful actions of social workers and family courts, parents have no affordable way to challenge the unjust removal of their children. Further, parents have no effective recourse when their children are placed in danger by the very system meant to protect them.

Women who report domestic violence have children removed from their care, only to be placed with the childrens' abusers.  These then have unrestricted contact with the children, yet the victim (the mother) is allowed only supervised contact.  As recently as last week, yet another young girl was taken from her mother to be placed with her father, in spite of the fact that he has raped her in the past.

That fact that social workers and family court judges have direct personal links to fostering and adoption agencies is a grave conflict of interest.  We suspect that this is responsible for many of the unjust actions taken within the system.

We call on Prime Minister Theresa May and Minister of State for Children and Families Mr. Robert Goodwill MP to take immediate action.  Either order an independent investigation and public inquiry into all contested cases, or resign. Our children are being abused by the very system that is meant to protect them.

I urge you to sign this petition and add your personal cases in the comments.
