Stop Zero Hour Contracts and a major review of Flexible Contracts

A zero-hour contract is a type of contract between an employer and a worker, where the employer is not obliged to provide any minimum working hours, while the worker is not obliged to accept any work offered.
Flexible Contracts are described in many different ways, the bottom line is that you`ll be contracted for say 5 hours a week, you`ll then be expected (in the majority of cases) to work when you are told, don`t believe you are being asked, you are being told, with many companies 24 hours notice is all that`s required.
These contracts cause financial hardship, depression, stress. In short, it has a negative effect on mental health, which has been reported.... http://www.ucl.ac.uk/news/news-articles/0717/050717-Zero-hours-health
These contracts are largely used by companies boasting millions, if not billions of UK pounds profit.
If we are taking Mental Health and Debt seriously in this country, we need to look at the source of the problem and in many cases, these contracts are a major contributing factor.
