Being disabled I was claiming tax credits due to hubby working 24 hours because we moved I was told I had to claim uc. I’m so depressed they take everything you earn it’s not a lot we was having £120 week on tc now we are getting that a month they said that’s rent that don’t cover it I’m at my wits don’t know to turn need this nightmare to end

It is going to affect me in a couple of months, I am disabled and so scared, it terrifies me the thought of being homeless, I have not slept properly in the last 6 months. I have no savings, I have pets that would be split up, imagine splitting up your kids and sending them to someone you dont know and never seeing them again, it breaks my heart. 5 week with no payments, oh yeah you can get 1 early payment of about 240 that has to last 5 weeks, that's just not possible and they know this, we have to stand up to this and put a stop to it.

I'm a member of the labour party in Newcastle upon Tyne 18 months ago ish I had 4 articles and 2 go viral through my local paper and also the ipaper regards how cruelly the Tory led dwp treat the most vulnerable and deprived in this so called democratic fair society this is not so .
Given the pandemic it has brought to the fore how ruinous on individuals and families universal credit and legacy benefits are . and now the onset of a no deal brexit which will and an increase in grocery shopping will only add to the misery of those less fortunate .my heart bleeds
