Remove George Freeman MP from the Number 10 Policy Unit

George Freeman is the Conservative MP for Mid Norfolk who in 2016 was appointed Director of the Number 10 Policy Unit.
Recently, the courts made decisions which the government claimed expanded the scope of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) beyond the original policy intention. Freeman defended new regulations designed to overturn the courts' decisions by calling the decisions 'bizarre', he said that the decisions meant that PIP would be paid to "people who take pills at home who suffer from anxiety" as a result and said that the new regulations would mean that PIP would be paid to the "...really disabled people who need it."
The very clear implication of this is that Freeman believes that people with anxiety cannot be 'really disabled' and should not be entitled to disability benefits. Despite subsequent denials and (sort-of) apologies this rather lets the cat out of the bag about Freeman's unacceptable prejudices against sufferers of mental health problems which can only be a poisonous and dangerous influence on policy development.
Therefore we ask that the Prime Minister remove George Freeman from his post as Director of the Number 10 Policy Unit and that she advises him to consider his position as the MP for Mid Norfolk,
