Every year there are thousands of young people within the UK, who are affected by bullying And it is estimated that 1 in 10 young people skip or drop out of school due to bullying their experiences of bullying and many young people are so knocked down by their experiences that they don't feel confident enough to report it to their school.
We are therefore calling to the UK Government to action the greatest problem faced amongst young people today and get a Law and guidance put in place aimed at schools, the local education department and parents so they are required to investigate and respond to allegations of bullying in schools. Bullying is in many ways a type of abuse that is not being taken seriously by many schools which effect the intellectual, emotional and social wellbeing of all young people in the schools around Sussex swell as the whole of the UK.
