Due to lack of NHS funding many people with disabilities are being denied the equipment that they require in order to be fully independent and are being forced to rely on charities or other departments (such as education or social services) to provide these things. Someone who doesn't have to experience this situation may not see the problem as there's still a good chance of the equipment being received eventually. However when other services are involved it makes the process a lot longer and more frustrating than it needs to be. Furthermore many charities are being forced to deny people of the help that they need due to a lack of funds, which is understandable considering that they have to mainly rely on donations.
