There are too many people who enter into care work lightly without experience or knowledge of proper care because it is not necessary to have any previous knowledge, experience or certificates when first entering some care sectors. It is therefore an easy choice for many for paid work. SOME of these ones enter blindly and have no idea about the huge implications and repercussions  of incorrect care. These repercussions lead to bad care, neglect and abuse. Most of which will never be seen. A simple change insisting on proof of non accredited or credited learning BEFORE entering any field of care work should be provided to prove some insight and knowledge of the important role a person is entering. This change would change communities. It would bring peace of mind to families. It will change the future of BAD care. Though it will not solve all of the poor issues in care, it would definately serve a purpose and highlight more and more the importance of good care. It will also bring recognition to good care workers in the field who are not recognised for how hard they work because it is such an easy industry to enter! Our friends, families, partners, sons and daughters all deserve the best in times where care is needed and it's imperative that more recognition is paid to proper training BEFORE a person is allowed to enter into any care environment.
