Introduce breast feeding lounges in public places

I am currently exclusively breast feeding my 3 month old daughter, the NHS advise mothers to exclusively breast feed for the first 6 months yet the uptake is appalling: the UK has one of the worst breast feeding levels in Europe, this is partly because women feel isolated and alone staying at home to breast feed and thus give up, people give me funny looks if I do it in public yet the private facilities are either in nappy changing areas which stink and where men and children walk in and out or the breast feeding rooms are horrible.
I am calling all Local Councils and the managers of shopping centres/shops to provide a women only suite and lounge with perhaps some sofas, comfy chairs, a TV and perhaps a few vending machines in public places so a baby can have a proper feed and mums are not imprisoned in their houses too embarrassed to breast feed in public. This would improve the take up and continuation of breast feeding and women will regain their dignity, confidence and no longer feel isolated doing what is best for their babies.

Apologies for any typos I am writing this while breast feeding!
