Increase public sector pay by 2.9% in line with CPI
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
Since 2010, public sector pay increases have been capped at 1%.
There was a case for this 7 years ago when the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) stood at 0.6%.
Today it stands at 2.9%. We believe the Government should increase Public Sector pay in line with CPI.
Our nurses, doctors, firefighters, police officers and local government officers deserve a proper pay rise. The money could be found from the Foreign Aid budget.
It is time Government looked after our public sector workers.
